Environmental Sustainability

The Kilnbridge Group is committed to promoting environmental sustainability in our works and across our projects. We respect our responsibility and work to minimise the impact our activities have on the environment. Our approach is demonstrated by the following.

Own and operate our own waste transfer station thereby having the ability to collect, transfer and recycle waste smoothly and quickly
Invested in an electric trommel to assist in waste seperation and improve recycling rates
Train operatives on the importance of waste management and provide opportunities for further courses
Operate a fuel management system to ensure optimum vehicle performance
Operate modern plant and employ in-house mechanics who visit projects to maintain equipment at peak performance
Minimise journeys by efficiently planning deliveries
Utilise efficient equipment such as electrical airless sprays that minimises airborne particles when executing passive fire protection work
Reduce wastage of construction material through our business management system encompassing ordering, handling, storage reconciliation and protection
Recycle surplus excavated materials and incorporate on-site where feasible
Recycle paper, metals, timber, plastics, packaging and off-cuts of plasterboard
Ensure all timber for formwork is only acquired from renewable sources
